Though it’s been a few years since their last album, London-based Little Barrie are back with a new and improved lineup. Featuring guitarist and vocalist Barrie Cadogan, bassist Lewis Wharton and drummer Virgil Howe (who also happens to be the son of Yes guitarist Steve Howe), the trio fuses garage rock and 60s funk. Their gritty, yet soulful music packs the kind of spunky swagger that calls to mind classic rock n’ roll and recent acts like The Strokes and The White Stripes. The trio recently did a video performance for BreakThru Radio. In addition to performing the featured song "Tip It Over," they also sat down for a brief interview with BTR Live Studio host, Maia. See it here!

Last Friday, February 17th, Less Than Jake made the Philadelphia, PA stop of their 20th Anniversary tour at the Trocadero. To say that the energy in the room was incredible would be an understatement. There is no energy so great as that of a ska show. The crowd itself was just so vibrant and alive that that alone made the show fantastic. Less Than Jake certainly gave the crowd what they were looking for and showed just why they have been able to remain a band for so long. ~Alicia Brown
