Still at a loss of what to do this New Year's Eve? Look no further. Philly based band, Good Old War, is playing a New Year's Eve show at the TLA in Philly with special guests River City Extension and more. It's sure to be an absolutely incredible show that you will not want to miss, especially seeing as there's no telling when Good Old War will play a hometown show next!
If you have never seen Good Old War live before, you should really get on it. Their live show is so good that there really are no words for it. Their three part harmonies are melt worthy and their energy is absolutely contagious. Good Old War is one of those feel-good bands that really have their sound locked down and can pull off all of their songs live. It's incredible to think that Good Old War is only three guys just rocking out due to the complexity of the guitar parts in their songs alone, but they really pull everything off in a way that will leave you awestruck.
If you need any more convincing to go out to this show check out Good Old War's announcement of the show here. Good Old War is also set to release their third full length record, Come Back As Rain, on March 6th on Sargent House Records. We here at Audio Arsenal absolutely cannot wait to hear this album. If you cannot wait, just like we really can't, check out a new song by the band up for free download called 'Calling Me Names' here. If the song is any indication of how amazing this record is going to be, which I'm sure it is, this album is likely to become one of my favorite albums of 2012.

Last Thursday, December 15th, The Maine played a sold out show at the First Unitarian Church in Philadelphia. The crowd was crazy, the energy wild, and the band was just as great as ever. Before the show we sat down with Garrett Nickelsen, bassist of the band, and had a nice little interview. You can see what he had to say about their new album, Pioneer, the current tour that they're on, and the future for the band here.

This past Saturday, December 10th, the Dead Throne Tour made its Philadelphia, PA stop of the tour at the Electric Factory. Check out some photos of For Today, Enter Shikari, Whitechapel, and The Devil Wears Prada. If you love the feeling of bass shaking you to your core, this tour is definitely the tour for you. All the bands are super talented and put on a great show.

Theatre Breaks Loose certainly has a bright future ahead of them. Check out what our writer Jen had to say about this EP here.

Last Friday, December 2nd, the Fearless Friends tour made the Philadelphia, PA stop of the tour at the TLA. This is probably one of the heaviest Fearless Friends that I have seen in a while. It features Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!, Tonight Alive, Motionless In White, the Word Alive, and Blessthefall.
All of the bands on this tour added something different and flowed together as a packaged tour should. Check out some photos of Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!, Tonight Alive, Motionless In White, The Word Alive, and Blessthefall and try to make it out to a show near you.
